Girl Does College

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…

Today was pretty damn awesome I must say. Usually in Washington state, unless you live high on the mountains with the abominable snowman or something, you never see snow.  Well, at 9:30 this morning, my ecstatic friend found otherwise.

She came to my door, banging on it, squeaking on how awesome it is outside.  I of course was sleeping, but got up anyway to see what her malfunction was. As soon as I opened it, she went on a tangent on how I always said it will never snow here in Olympia, and to look outside.  When I stepped out to look out the main door, sure enough, there was a thick blanket of that white sleet all over the ground.

Long story short, two hours, one snowman, five snowball fights, six frozen feet, and six frozen hands later, we went back inside from our snowy wonderland. Needless to say, I’m freezing, my fingers are stiff as hell, and my feet are on the heater, and all my coats are wet from the snow, but I feel good. When you’re in college and having to be responsible, it’s nice to get a little break and act like a kid again.

Even though most kids I’m sure put the carrot on the TOP ball of the snowman, we’re mature, responsible adults. We can put the carrot anywhere we want. (About two notches lower ya’ll.)
