Girl Does College

I love The Nightlife…

Number one, I suck with promises, so I haven’t posted in quite a long time. Although I just started myLivejournal up again, so I…might..be posting…a lot…more…to a certain extent. Otherwise, yeah, I suck.

So, the college life is strange and exotic. You have the movie parties, the games of pool in the Community Center, those wacky and crazy games of Frisbee, but nothing is like the drunken party.

Now don’t jump to conclusions, I haven’t done anything yet. I mean, I know better. But when all your friends are drunk off their… well, rear-ends. I’m more the…designated friend. I’m the one that’s sane, so if one wants to go jump off the clock tower, I MIGHT be able to persuade him to jump off something smaller…like the dorm roof.

But after a while, it starts to weigh on you. What WOULD it be like to be drunk? Or not so much drunk as…inebriated. I came into college saying I wouldn’t, and I’m still in that mindset, but its a lot harder than I thought to keep the goody-goody two shoes act going for so long. You want to have fun, and in order to have fun, you have to join the crowd most of the time. Although I fit in fine without getting smashed, curiosity killed the cat you know?

But alas, I don’t plan to RIGHT now. If I do end up having one night of major drunken stuporness, I would be surprised, and I would have to hide my cell phone to refrain from calling my mom, and yelling out in a drunken rage “WHEN ARE YOU GONNA SEND ME THE REST OF MY F******* ANIME DVD’S!!??”

In fact, there are three options to what I would be like drunk;

1. The Weepy drunk. I would emo over the fact I still don’t or ever had a boyfriend.

2. The abusive drunk. I’m that way already to an extent. I would just punch people for no reason, and think it’s hilarious. I do now, but I actually feel remorse.

3. The “Layman” drunk. I would be dumber than a brick, and would do the stupidest thing. Like wake up in the library next morning with a dog or something. And like…only my pants on. A disturbing image yes, but I’m sure it would be even more disturbing for my boss, since I work there…Heh, I’d get fired faster than my friends at a “bonfire.”

You may think this is a joke now, but..heh…I probably would do so, because here at Evergreen, I am CRAZZZYYY.

Don’t worry though fellow readers. I’m a good girl. I will refrain fromt eh trials of Peer Pressure, and worry more about my schoolwork, and internships…and..uh, homework.

On another topic, every night this week, I’ve gone to bed at about 1am and on. In fact, RIGHT now, I’m writing this at 12:24 Am, and I still have a paper due for my class tomorrow I need to finish. And what am I doing writing this instead of my paper you may ask? Simple… I’m one hell of a procrastinator.

But what am I doing up so late? Nothing. I hang out playing video games. Go on a midnight trip to Safeway, and grab late night snackage. (Did that last night actually.) Play frisbee or air hockey. Or, like now, “do homework.” Its funny. My mom always says “get some sleep tonight!” And I say, “I will…” And then I stay up till 5am. College is the worst place to stay on a diet, and have good sleeping habits, because nobody EVER follows it. There’s a curse, and it’s impossible for you to have morals and decency here.

So tonight I’ll probably fall asleep again around 3 am, and wake up to go work at the campus library at nine. Then I’ll go to class, and fall asleep. Because as cool as Installation Art is, its SOOOOO boring! And I wont do drugs or beer. Although I know anyone who reads this would laugh at the thought of me being drunk…you know it.

P.S. Supposedly, people have actually been asking about the blog. NOBODY ever responds. I figured nobody would read it after I never posted again. Nice to know some people still care. So respond people, otherwise I feel no obligation to bother with the blog. I’ll consider it one of those passing fancies where I wish I could be popular on the Internet.

OH! Almost forgot. Drum Circles exsist. And they play all night, REALLY early in the morning. And my room’s window is right by it, so it sucks even more. Drums and night DO NOT mix.
